As a mom and teacher, it was wonderful watching my kids completely engage their full self. The blocks of ice, colored water, cardboard boxes, teepees, and tires, provided a safe learning space where my kids could explore, create, imagine, and immerse themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually. If only they could play and learn like this every day!

As a passionate play educator I absolutely love to watch the children thrive in the B&P setting. Watching each child use the materials in their own unique way, creating, problem solving and learning in a fully engaging child lead setting is more than I could have hoped for in my role as B&P Counselor.
Build & Play is a community program of Sunflower Creative Arts, a Delray Beach based 501c3 nonprofit empowering children to be confident, creative and compassionate through Play, Nature and the Arts. We are funded by donors, grants, Sunflower Creative Arts, The Jim Moran Foundation, The Coalition and Prime Time Palm Beach County.
